About

Hi, I’m Miranda Pitts! I’m a second-year Fine Art student at the University of Cincinnati, focusing on photography. Most of my work is really personal. I’m drawn to themes like memory, identity, and connection, especially the emotional stuff that’s hard to put into words. Photography helps me explore the quiet moments between people, the ones that stick with you long after they’ve passed. Lately, I’ve been working on projects that reflect my own relationships, like the one with my younger sister, or the close friendships I’ve made in college through a shared love for photography. I’m into soft light, stillness, and images that feel honest and a little vulnerable. I love when a photo can say something real without needing a caption. For me, photography is a way of paying attention—to people, to feelings, to fleeting moments. I’m excited to keep growing, experimenting, and making work that feels both true to me and open to others.
